JUST READ: Daggermouth: 5 stars (23/215 overall ranking)
I NEEDED this after my last read. The entire book was a solid 4.5 but then the ending shook me to my core. I got full body chills and sat there in shock. My blood was pumping! If you want an exciting and slightly smutty dystopian book. I would recommend this one! God, I love when women! Need the second book out ASAP.

This was an anticipated read for me as soon as I heard the plot. A trad wife influencer having to face genuine trad wife life and not the idealized/made up version? Sign me up! So far I have been eating this book up and I am very anxious to see how it ends.

I was sipping rather than eating at Better Luck Tomorrow but don’t fret food is available. During a Texas summer you best believe I will be purchasing a frozen drink when available. This Miami Vice hit as if I was at a resort pool.

HILARY DUFF. I saw Hilary Duff in concert and I was not aware how healing that experience was going to be for my pre-teen self. I also forgot that she was a H-Town Baddie! The concert was a good mix of her old and new music. Hilary is forever an icon! Love that diva.

Movies: My Best Friend’s Wedding
I had never seen this movie and since it was leaving Netflix I decided to give it a watch. It had a star studded cast but I had no idea what the plot was. I probably had never heard of the plot because this was actually a horror movie from the POV of Cameron Diaz’s character. The best friend of Julia Roberts is actually the groom and she is trying to break up the wedding because she has now realized she is in love with him. Julia Roberts is the friend you were told not to worry about. And don’t worry the groom also sucks!

General: Touch Tunes
Let me enlighten you to what you are looking at. That is the Touch Tunes activity of a man during one night. I wish I could forgive the rest of his sins because of ‘No Hands’ but I simply cannot. Despite this behavior, I love a bar with Touch Tunes! LET ME GET ON THE AUX. Yes, I will be playing No Hands but Robyn’s ‘Dancing on My Own’ played on this night (no thanks to this man) and that was a fun main character moment!
Pop Culture: Empire State Building Couple
A couple climbed the top of the Empire State Building and the man proposed. Here is the thing, yes they are a hot couple! Yes they got arrested but that’s kind of romantic! I’m rooting for them. I can only imagine the wedding will be a great time.

This is your sign to treat yourself at a nice lingerie boutique. I had heard that getting your bra sized at a genuine lingerie store was life changing so I did just that. The experience at Top Drawer Lingerie was wild. The lady just looked at my topless self and went to grab me a bra. She did not use a measuring tape. When she came back she had a bra that fit me perfectly. I support whatever witchery she used because now I have a bra that genuinely fits me!
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Birthday Grudge
I’m holding a grudge if you don’t wish me a happy birthday and you are a part of life. Every year on my birthday a friend that I haven’t talked to for awhile steps up and sends a simple text. If you cannot do the same, I am noting that for the future. If that makes me immature or petty, I will happily accept that title.
YAPPY HOUR: Salt and Vinegar
I’m a salt and vinegar GIRL. Make those chips make my mouth hurt! It’s a polarizing flavor and I understand why but it is my absolute favorite chip flavor (future ranking perhaps). I need to know where the yappers stand on this issue.
