RANKING OF THE WEEK: My Least Favorite Advertisements
I’m putting the Hulu logo here because I refuse to platform my hated brands any further and Hulu is where I see the most commercials.
Kalshi - This brand advertises so aggressively and STOP telling me to bet on Love Island. Go back to targeting men because it’s not working on the girlies.
AI - I audibly groan once I realize a commercial is for AI. Gross
Weight Loss Brands - I hated them when they were Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig now I hate them as Ozempic
Medicine Commercials - I love seeing a woman on her jog while someone lists the 50 horrible things the medication can potentially do to me
Redbull - Nothing personally against Redbull but their new advertisements of people doing extreme sports annoy and confuse me

JUST READ: Next of Kin: 3.5 stars (109/213 overall ranking)
At the beginning of this book I was deciding between a 4 or a 4.5. The plot was good and the tension was THERE. Unfortunately after that, this book kept disappointing me. I am not a fan of instant love in romance books. I need a build up and in this book it felt like an on and off switch. What really killed me is the fact that at the end of this book the male main character punched a hole in a wall in front of a child. Oh that’s not….. AND THEN this book had the audacity to have two epilogues. You know how I feel about epilogues.
CURRENTLY READING: A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara
It’s beach read season! Easy and fun reads! So of course I am reading this long and tragic book. It is a book club read and I am excited for the discussion this book will provoke.

Restaurant: Montrose Cheese & Wine
If a restaurant has a little something special going on, I will stop by! Raclette cheese on a hot dog? Sign me up! Now, I tried to be brave and get everything on my hot dog (mustard and saurkraut). In the future I would opt for the cheese and hot dog only. The mustard was the most PUNGENT mustard I have ever tasted. Even with the pungent tastes, I would still rate this as a 10/10 experience.
Recipe: Pineapple Sangria
It’s summer and the girlies need a summer cocktail. In my opinion, many cocktail recipes are more work than they are worth. I would prefer to spend my money at a cocktail bar instead of doing all of that work but this was an easy one! I made this for cookbook club and was quite a fan!

Olivia Rodrigo has done it again. ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’ is another BANGER and no skip album. She is an ARTIST. The story telling from beginning to end had be gagged. And to be quite honest this album was hurting my feelings! I was crying (as one does while listening to her album) and then ‘Expectations’ hit and I was like wait… everything is going to be alright.

Podcasts: Brooke and Connor Make a Podcast
Brooke is off being iconic with her book release so Connor has had some guests on the podcast for the last couple of weeks. The most recent guest was truly so iconic. Brooke and Connor often dox random people, including a man named Ray who works at Framebridge. Ray from Framebridge was indeed the guest on the most recent episode. Ray BROUGHT the energy. Such an icon.
Television: Survivor Vanuatu
I like to describe this as the season as the season where Jeff dated a contestant afterwards (see Julie in the lower left corner). Honestly this was an underrated season for me! It was very unpredictable and had some very likeable and unlikeable people. It ranks number 3 out of 9 in my current ranking!

Just know that after I go to a restaurant, bar, or coffee shop. I am logging that on beli immediately. I’m just mad that I didn’t start using this app sooner, because I cannot remember all the places that I have been! Pop Culture: Love Island
The streets (Tik Tok) are telling me that there is a new season of Love Island. As usual, I am not watching. BUT I saw multiple Tik Toks about there being a large breasted bombshell who is not wearing her appropriate size. HERE COMES HAILEY TO SPREAD HER LARGE CHESTED LORE. Baby, there isn’t an appropriate size for her! AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM. When you get larger sizes, the band increases but the cup stays around the same size. I’m not watching but I know for a fact that that girly has a difficult time buying swimsuits and probably clothing in general. She should be used as promotion to stop the clothing companies from forgetting about the large chested women.
R: RECOMMEND: Kindle Girlies at Bookstores
This recommendation is to a specific demographic. The yappers who love reading on their chosen electronic reader (for me that is a Kindle) but yearn for the book store experience. I still love a book store but I don’t want to buy physical books. I have my book store experience by browsing the books and taking pictures of the books that intrigue me! There is something so calming and fun about a book store. I don’t want to miss out on that just because I read on my Kindle!
T: TREAT: Ice Cream with Fruit Roll Ups
Don’t mind the picture. This was a late night craving. I have been influenced by Tik Tok to put a fruit roll up on top of my ice cream. The fruit roll up hardens and creates a crunchy shell. Despite the appearance, it was delicious. It was incredibly difficult to eat, especially in my car. I’m glad I had it once, but if I am not in the comfort of my home, I probably would not do this experiment again.
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Crazy Ex Girlfriends
Ladies of the straight variety, this is for you. If a man tells you that he has a “crazy ex girlfriend…” RUN. Do not walk but run. Set a PR with how fast that you run. I know there are some of you out there thinking “well, duh!” or “If that is the only red flag then I am not running.” But I thought the same thing and then I met a man with an ex-girlfriend who, from lack of a better word, seemed genuinely crazy. So I thought, well he gets a pass. WRONG. We should be asking ourselves not if the girl is crazy or not but instead WHO made her crazy. The answer 99% of the time will be that man. That man made her crazy and he is coming for you next. So once again, I am telling you to run.
YAPPY HOUR: Horror Movie Screams
I so badly want to be able to scream like the horror movie baddies. It’s so iconic and if I get into a sticky situation, I want to be prepared. But where does one practice such a scream? Are you born with that ability? I’m not trying to scare my neighbors but maybe they would understand that I am in pursuit of greatness.
