RANKING OF THE WEEK: Fast Food Potato Draft
My definition of fast food is a place with a drive through.
McDonald’s French Fries - an obvious first pick in the draft
Taco Bell Nacho Fries - the seasoning and cheese sauce will always do it for me

JUST READ: Kissing the Sky (3 stars): 153/202 overall ranking
This was the definition of an “alright” read. There was nothing wrong with it but there was also nothing great about it. At times I was bored and other times I was into the plot. The book felt quite long without anything particularly grand happening.
CURRENTLY READING: Portrait of a Scotsman by Evie Dunmore
I’m going strong with this series! This is the first leading man with an appropriate hair color - sorry to the blonde and ginger men out there. Admittedly, Harriet was my least favorite girl in the other books but so far I am enjoying her in this book! We love character growth!

Restaurant: Down the Street
I was quite the fan of this bar even though I learned that I am not a fan of Chardonnay (I still drank the entire glass). I used to have a place in college where I was obsessed with the Korean cauliflower and I have been looking for a replacement ever since. I was not expecting that place to be this bar but it was delicious!
Recipe: Marry Me Chicken
This was the chicken I made for my April dinner party. There are a million recipes for this chicken, so I went with the original. I added some tweaks like adding spinach and serving the chicken over pasta.

Noah Kahan’s new album, ‘The Great Divide’ is out. As expected this album will hit you in all the feels. I love this man but he is SICK because the lyrics will get you straight to the heart. I wasn’t fully recovered from Stick Season (and I never will be) and now I have new music to cry over.

Our fearless leader Brittney Broski is taking a hiatus from her podcast until Spooky Season! As a former directioner, I have trauma regarding a hiatus but I hope she has a fabulous summer and is ready to relax. I will miss listening to her chaos this summer!
Movies: Verity Trailer
It’s time to stop making Colleen Hoover books into movies. I loved the Verity book but what do you mean this is going to be a horror movie? The book was a thriller of course but far from a horror movie. I understand that changes are inevitable from books to movies but lets not change the plot. I was excited but that’s my fault for thinking that they would make a good Colleen Hoover movie! My bad!!!

General: Tarot Cards
After years of getting my cards read to me on TikTok, it was about time I had my local woo-woo whimsical girl read my cards! It was such a good time and of course her cards were way cuter than the Tik Tok girlies. I know nothing about Tarot but getting my cards read was a top tier happy hour activity!
Pop Culture: Meg & Klay
No picture of Klay is needed. Classic. A man fumbling a baddie. A tale as old as time! Meg put out a statement on her Instagram story saying that he cheated and wasn’t ready for monogamy. I’m here for a woman leaving a man after cheating and giving the people (me) the dirty details. The man who named a boat after her and lives with her isn’t ready for monogamy? Ew. Michael B. Jordan - if you are a good man (I’m really hoping you are) call Meg up after she enjoys her hot girl summer!
R: RECOMMEND: Medicube Sheet Face Mask
I was gifted this for Christmas and finally tried it out! Now I wasn’t prepared for it to be on my face for over an hour but it was worth it! I feel like this mask sucked out all the gross gunk in my face!
T: TREAT: Girl’s Trip to Fort Worth Stock Yards
Fort Worth was my last unvisited major city in Texas to visit. It was a good time! I loved that we were able to walk to everything throughout the weekend and that I was able to cosplay as a cowgirl for the entire weekend. Cattle walk the streets everyday (as they should) and we ran into many horses! We drank, we got stormed on, and we yee-hawed. Stay tuned for next week’s Yapple edition for a recap of the fabulous food.
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Technology Not Working
I consider myself a very patient person but I draw the line with technology. It will make me crash out. What do you mean when I search a name in an email, that email is no where to be found. After I endlessly scroll, the email all of the sudden exists and that name is very much featured. Companies - let’s focus less on the A.I. and more on your stuff actually working. Thanks!

For my entire life I have heard so many things about Harry Styles’ dating life that I just ignored it so it is wild that we are now at an engagement.
