JUST READ: A Rogue of One’s Own: 4 stars (61/200 overall ranking)
I’m eating this series up! I enjoyed how there was more of a focus on the female friendships in this one but it did take me longer to get on board with the couple. Once I was hooked, I was hooked. This author does know how to write an ending that makes me forget about the moments during the book that I was bored during.
CURRENTLY READING: Kissing the Sky by Lisa Patton
A historical fiction about the Vietnam war and Woodstock? Sign me up! I’m not sure what does it for me about historical fiction but I need there to be more Kristin Hannah-esque types of historical fiction. Hoping this book can fall into that category!

Restaurant: Chipotle’s Cilantro Lime Sauce
Yes, I tried Chipotle’s new Cilantro Lime Sauce and I really enjoyed it. BUT…BUT… why is it a $1 extra for this? Guac and queso, sure I guess. This? Absolutely not. This is just greedy. I’m not a Chipotle regular but I cannot imagine this becoming a staple on the menu if it’s an upcharge.
Recipe: Cheese Danish Galette
The Cheese Danish part was fabulous and the crust was simply a vessel for the center.

Music:
As a lover of ‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!,’ I had to give Raye’s album “This Music May Contain Hope” a listen. Raye is an ARTIST. Besides the single, I won’t be saving any of the songs to listen to on their own but the album overall is a piece of art. There is a story and there are dramatics! If you need a laugh as a woman dealing with men, please listen to ‘The WhatsApp Shakespeare.’

Podcasts: Giggly Squad
Surprise, surprise: It’s another yap about Giggly Squad. I could make this a section solely dedicated to Hannah and Paige but I do listen to other quality podcasts. Hannah recently discovered that she was not friends with her husband on Facebook and that is so real. I am not friends with a good amount of important people on Facebook. Facebook has truly lost it’s value for most people under the age of 40 I fear.
Television: Survivor Africa
This season was alright. The drama at the beginning was fun but after that I was over it as it just became a very predictable ending. These contestants were definitely surviving in Africa. I personally would not enjoy being so close to Lions. There were also two bigoted individuals this season that were hard to watch. Currently this season ranks 4 out of the six seasons I have watched.
Movies: Project Hail Mary
The movie is indeed as good as everyone is saying it is. I cried more times than I care to admit. Props to Ryan Gosling because majority of the movie is him on his own. My butt did hurt towards the end of the movie due to it having an almost three hour run time but it was completely worth it.
O: OBSESSED
General: Carabiner Bag Charm
At this point, I’m convinced I can do all the crafts on my own! Although that is very much not true because needlepoint, embroidery, crochet, and embroidery scare me. But this is so cutie! Just some simple charms and beads on a carabiner.
Pop Culture: Coachella
Coachella Weekend 1 is over and Weekend 2 is around the corner (Kacey Musgraves was added to the Weekend 2 setlist and that is just adding to my FOMO). I genuinely don’t think I’m ever meant to attend Coachella but I do eat up the content. It really seems like all the nostalgic vibes were present this year. They know how to win the people over. Now was I impressed by Bieber’s YouTube style of performance? Not at all, I don’t care to see his meme videos. Was I sick with jealousy and turning on his old music at home? Yes! Two things can be true at once divas.
R: RECOMMEND: Basketball Game
Now, I am recommending this a tad too late because the regular season is over and it’s playoff time. But if you aren’t a sports girly, I feel like a basketball game is the most fun sport to attend because it’s fast paced. I had a very good time and my team won!
T: TREAT: Ranting on Close Friends
I used to utilize my private story on snap chat quite regularly (if you know, you know)! Now I barely use snapchat. Why have I not been posting on close friends on Instagram? I finally had tea that the people needed to know. I will be venting/ranting/spilling the tea more on close friends again. A little reward for myself!
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Recipe within a Recipe
I have always disliked this but since starting cookbook club, I have grown to hate a recipe within another recipe. Just give me all the information I need on one page. It’s already asking a lot from me to make one recipe. There is a 0% chance I will flip to another page or click on another link to make something else. Recipe makers, let’s figure this out and stop it.
YAPPY HOUR: Period Cravings
I’m in a mood where I’m down to be stereotypical. I was going through hell and I got myself an Oreo McFlurry! It’s ok to be a walking stereotype while it’s your time of the month, as long as there is not a man saying that to you!
