Dear Gentle & Saucy Yappers,
Happy International Women’s History Month! Make sure to appreciate the women in your life extra hard. Although my mind is pretty focused on Harry Styles, I will always hold space for women. And honestly, Harry Styles would do the same.
xoxo, Hailey Girl
RANKING OF THE WEEK: KATTDO

This ranking was incredibly difficult but this is my top 5 after one week of listening.
Pop - try not to throw ass while listening to this song. IMPOSSIBLE
Ready, Steady, Go - this song just get’s me going!
Aperture - I always find that singles are the hardest songs to rank on an album. This song already went triple platinum in my house hold so it felt wrong for it to not make my top 5
Are You Listening Yet? - this song makes me feel like I’m being chased by Harry Styles (positive connotation)
Dance No More - this song was initially in the bottom half of my ranking but it has continued to creep up in to my top 5 as I listen more

R: READING
JUST READ: Bringing Down the Duke: 5 stars (23/195 overall ranking)
Romance mixed with feminism!? I ate this book up. My first five star read of 2026! Now the Duke was described as having blonde hair so I had to ignore that but I loved everything else about him. I loved the female main character and I loved the plot. If you are having Bridgerton withdrawals, I suggest this book.
CURRENTLY READING: Cash by Jessica Peterson

I started listening to this book but audible wanted to tell me half way through that it was no longer available to listen to. Luckily I am able to read it through Kindle Unlimited, but I was enjoying the country accents of the narrators. Automatically eating this story up because it’s a cowboy book!
E: EATING
Restaurant: Ramen Tatsu-ya

I fear the colder days where I am craving dishes like Ramen are numbered. I’m ready for pool days but I’m not ready to give up ramen and soup. I order the ‘Mi-so-not’ because I’m too much of a wimp to go for the ‘Mi-so-hot.’ This is one of those ramen bowls that no matter how much I eat from it, I feel I didn’t make any progress.

PSA: I made a recipe of toaster strudels for cookbook club but in my opinion they were not very good so I will not be sharing that recipe for the reputation of this newsletter’s sake.
P: PLAYING
Music:

Harry Style’s fourth album, Kiss All the Time, Disco Occasionally (KATTDO) is finally HERE. I am obsessed. Perhaps my opinion is biased because it’s recent but this is my favorite Harry Styles album. Every listen the songs get better and better. There is not a singular skip song. Many people say this album is boring and to them I must assume that they are boring themselves. I’m sorry I don’t make the rules.
Song Recommendation: Pop - Harry Styles
Podcasts: Binchtopia
I have always said this and I will continue to say this, LET PEOPLE ENJOY THINGS. On Binchtopia, they discussed if you hate on Disney adults, you are part of the exact problem you think that you are hating on. I 100% agree and I would not consider myself a Disney adult in any capacity. In my opinion it all comes down to people’s lack of whimsey. You do not need to like everything. Not everything needs to be a think piece. Stay in your lane and let people enjoy things.
Television: Bridgerton Season 4: Part 2

I liked this season of Bridgerton from part 1 but part 2 made me love this season. I would say it was one of my favorites. It was also an EMOTIONAL season, my goodness. I need Violet to get her own spin off season like they did with Queen Charlotte. Violet is my favorite character and deserves her happiness.
Movies: Harry Styles One Night Only in Manchester

Let’s pretend I wasn’t already extremely excited for the tour, this Netflix special made it 10 times worse. I am ready to dance the night away with Harry Styles. Now Sign of the Times is not from this new album clearly BUT I desperately need a studio version of how he sang that song in this special. It quite literally made me cry? It was so raspy and beautiful. What the hell Harry!?
O: OBSESSED
General: Celebrating Women

Snacks, flowers, sips, cards, and women? Well yes, I’m automatically obsessed. These were the vibes of my latest picnic. I’m such a supporter of greeting cards. They are a lost art. This is your sign to give a woman in your life a card!
Pop Culture: Timothee Chalamet vs. Ballet and Opera (and also Doja Cat)

It’s crazy how quickly you can bring down your positive PR with one dumb ass comment. But to that I say, don’t say dumb ass things. If you live under a rock, Timothee commented on ballet and opera saying that he would not want to work in those industries because no one cares about them. Doja Cat also joined the chat to hate on Timothee which I love. An additional dumb comment that should be getting him more hate is him describing a child-free life as ‘Bleak’ and that “pro-creation is the reason we are here.” SPOOKY. We get it you are Stormi’s step-dad. Anyway I’m over him and hoping he doesn’t win that Oscar.
R: RECOMMEND: Hydro Flask Cooler

I finally had the chance to use my Christmas gift cooler and I was a big fan. Don’t judge me but I was previously using a lunch box for my small cooler needs. This is the perfect size for a picnic or pool day. Not sponsored (unfortunately) but it also happens to be 50% off right now so this is your sign to purchase if you were in need of a small cooler to carry around!
T: TREAT: Mahjong

Luckily I have a friend who can teach me cool new games! I had been seeing this game everywhere but learning a new game is so intimidating. It was very fun and I am determined to win this game on my own someday. I don’t know if I have the potential to set up this game on my own because that seemed intense but I believe I have the potential to play and win! Also the game is so cute!
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Landslide
I love the song Landslide. I love Fleetwood Mac. I grew up on The Chick’s version of that song. For the longest time I thought The Chick’s cover was the original song. That probably contributes a lot to my opinion but I prefer the Chick’s version of Landslide over Fleetwood Mac’s. I’m sorry Stevie Nicks!
SAUCY STORY TIME (YAPPER WRITE-INS):
Back when I was in the Marine Corps (reserves), I worked with this terrible officer! Everybody hated him because he never knew what was going on, but would always blame us for it in front of the highest ranking officers. For additional context, one time he called me 12 times in a row because he had a minor question, and I would not pick up because I was AT WORK. Anyways, he never seemed to hate me as much as the others until my (ex) girlfriend and gay bestie showed up to my promotion ceremony back in 2023. The look of silent disgust as he shook their hands was too visible for comfort despite his (mild) effort to hide it. He ended up leaving the unit, and after I got out, I rarely thought about this man again. Then, two weeks ago I posted a poem on my Substack about how terrible it was to be in the military and ended up finding another poem I'd written back in high school in the exact same style about how excited I was to join the military. In the middle of processing this emotional turmoil I went to check my mail. Imagine my surprise when I see a picture of this man and his entire family in multi-colored MAGA hats, yes even the baby, addressed to me. On the other side? He is shaking hands with the orange-colored devil himself. Yup, you guessed it: he is running as a republican candidate for Texas Attorney General, and most importantly, I don't think I will ever truly escape the military.

The Daily Immune Ritual I Trust All Winter Long
Winter is when I’m most intentional about supporting my immune system, and Pique’s Daily Immune has become one of my non-negotiables. It’s the kind of daily ritual that feels supportive, not overwhelming and one I actually look forward to.
What sets Daily Immune apart is its liposomal vitamin C, which helps deliver nutrients more effectively to your bloodstream and immune cells, where they can truly do their job. I notice the difference in how steady and resilient I feel, especially during colder months when my body needs extra support. The addition of elderberry gives it that extra layer of seasonal immune defense I trust.
Daily Immune supports my everyday immunity, collagen production, skin resilience, and antioxidant protection all in one simple step. I love that it fits seamlessly into my routine and tastes bright and refreshing.
Winter wellness doesn’t need to be extreme to be effective. For me, Daily Immune is an easy, consistent way to feel supported, strong, and cared for all season long
