Dear Gentle & Saucy Yappers,
Punxsutawney Phil has spoken. Six more weeks of winter. I feel like I could have told everyone that due to the freeze of it all but I understand there is more pizazz when a ground hog does it. Don’t be mad at Phil for this though. He’s just the messenger.
xoxo, Hailey Girl
RANKING OF THE WEEK: Donuts

My Tik Tok is full of the Dunkin’ Valentine’s Donuts (which I have never had); Yappers are they worth the hype!?
Glazed - She’s basic but I’m always going to come back for her
Blueberry - I always prefer a glazed over cake donut but blueberry works for both
Apple Fritter - often overlooked and for what!?
Chocolate Glazed - Sprinkles are preferred (I’m also talking chocolate icing not chocolate chocolate)
Cream Filled - they can overwhelm me at times but I do love
R.E.P.O.R.T.
R: READING
JUST READ: Heart the Lover: 4 stars (46/189 overall ranking)
I really enjoyed this book. It was a short and sweet book with beautiful writing. It was character driven over plot driven but well done. I like those types of books from time to time. I didn’t cry though! The ending was emotional but I think I did not care for the character enough to cry at the end. Oops!
CURRENTLY READING: Animal by Lisa Taddeo

I have been trying to read this book FOREVER and it just has not worked out. I love a book where the first line immediately hooks you. “I drove myself out of New York City where a man shot himself in front of me.” Yeah, I’m sat!
E: EATING
Restaurant: Nando’s PERi PERi

Am I revealing that I was way too deep in the One Direction fangirl life if I said when I saw Nando’s I thought of Niall Horan? If you get it, you get it. I get the hype about this place and I fear I will become a regular. What sold me? The sauces! I got ¼ chicken with a side of fries and garlic bread. Everything was yummy and flavorful. And I was smothering everything in the sauces I chose from the sauce bar. If somewhere has a sauce bar, I’m in!
P: PLAYING
Music:

Olivia Dean! My girl! Also, the 2026 Grammy’s Best New Artist. She is already big but I just know she is going to be BIG. Like historically big. Her album, ‘The Art of Loving,’ deserves all the flowers once it is Grammy eligible next year.
Song Recommendation: A Couple Minutes - Olivia Dean
Podcasts: The Comment Section

Drew and her guest sang ‘The Plus-Size Park Hoppers’ praises on a recent episode of The Comment Section. AND SAME. If you are not aware of their Tik Tok account, they are plus size divas, ranging in sizes, who go to the major amusement parks and let you know how accessible they are. They receive a disgusting amount of hate for just living their lives. They are so positive and helpful and I’m not sure why people feel the need to dull their sparkle. If the Park Size Park Hoppers have no fans, I’m dead.
Television: Traitors

Yeah! I’m talking about Traitors again. But you might not hear too much about it soon because LET ME TELL YOU... if this show becomes the Rob/Colton show, I will not continue to watch. I KNEW the latest episode was going to be a tough watch so I put off watching it and then it was even worse than I could have imagined. I did not enjoy watching it. I’ll catch them with the next season because the ‘Golden Boy’ Colton edit did not work on me!
Movies: Eloise at the Plaza

Watching Eloise at the Plaza helps keep up the whimsical vibe I was looking for in 2026. She is THAT girl. I did look into it. If you want to stay in her suite at the Plaza yourself (during non-peak season times), it will run you around $3000 per night. A steal!
O: OBSESSED
General: Surprise Parties

The title says I’m obsessed with surprise parties (I am) but actually I’m obsessed with female friendships. I was thrown a surprise birthday party that was themed perfectly for me. The tequila espresso martini shots did scare me but I still loved it. It is difficult to not feel overwhelmed with love and happiness when you have so many women in your life who go out of their way to celebrate you. I already am a lover of birthdays but somehow I became more obsessed this year because of a surprise birthday party!
Pop Culture: The Grammy's

I felt like it was a pretty non-controversial Grammy’s year! At lease in my opinion, there were a variety of deserving winners. I love to see that! Even when things I was rooting for didn’t win (Subway by Chappell for Best Pop Solo performance), I still ended up being fine with who won (Messy by Lola Young for Best Pop Solo performance).
R: RECOMMEND: Plan a Girl’s Trip
I actually think the solution to every problem is to plan a girl’s trip. It can be small and inexpensive. It can be spontaneous. It can be well planned with a detailed itinerary. But the joy of looking forward to a girl’s trip is unmatched. Trust me.
T: TREAT: Pistachio Pavlova

Nancy’s Hustle does it again. I trust them with every fiber in my body that they are going to present me with a top tier dessert. I would like to personally kiss their dessert chef on the lips. Not the cheek, LIPS. This is the second time where I have read the description to a dessert on their menu which regularly changes, thought hmmm ok, and then tasted the best thing I have ever had. The dessert was described as: pistachio pavlova, lemon bay leaf mousse, and seasonal citrus. I’ll be honest, I don’t even know what pistachio pavlova means.
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Stop Signs
I actually would prefer every stop sign situation to be a 4-way stop (when in a neighborhood). I don’t trust the people with stop signs to stop for me! I find myself having to slow down for people who don’t understand how to use a stop sign so at that point just give me a stop sign too.
YAPPY HOUR: Roku City
This isn’t brand new information but Roku City has implemented capitalism. I noticed it slowly but surely. The Mcdonald’s sign. The advertisement billboards. All while there are still very real horrors happening such as an alien invasion and Godzilla attacking. I can only hope Roku City is able to make big changes soon.

The Drink Everyone’s Reaching For This Spring 🍸✨
Spring doesn’t have to mean a packed schedule and another drink you regret tomorrow.
This season, I’m reaching for something different: Vesper by Pique.
Pique is known for blending ancient botanicals with modern science to create elevated wellness essentials. Vesper might be my favorite yet. It’s a non-alcoholic, adaptogenic aperitif that delivers the relaxed, social glow of a cocktail. Without alcohol or the next-day fog.
It’s what I pour when I want something special in my glass on a bright spring evening. Each sip feels celebratory and uplifting. Relaxed body. Clear mind. No haze. No sleep disruption.
Crafted with L-theanine, lemon balm, gentian root, damiana, and elderflower, Vesper is sparkling, tart, and beautifully herbaceous.
If you’re ready for a new kind of happy hour, try Vesper here. 🌿✨
