Kindle Unlimited x Audible are bringing books to the top of my to read list because those are more limited! This wasn’t on my radar but I love the cover and I love the premise. They say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but I will be so honest that I do indeed judge books by their cover.

Saucy take alert - but I believe the only reason to go to Chuy’s is for the chips and jalapeno ranch. Well now after going to Little Rey’s and having their chips and jalapeno ranch, Chuy’s is out! I LOVE a good salsa bar and Little Rey’s excelled at that. I truly had to stop myself from trying every single one. My taco was good too but the salsa bar is what stole my heart.

My recent listening of Lorde really adds on to my music vibe from this week. When Lorde wrote ‘The Louvre,’ I’m sure she did not predict that 8 years later a heist would bring one of her songs back to popularity. I can’t wait to watch the documentary on this heist. I can only hope they capitalize on the fact that they have a perfect song to use in the trailer.

I took a break, but I’m back on my Survivor shit! The early 2000’s of this season really popped off and truly reminds me how far we have come. This season they split the teams into men vs. women and I will let you all guess how the commentary on that looked throughout the season. Many unlikable contestants unfortunately!

Favorite Contestant: Matt - hate to root for a man on this season but he was pure and misunderstood

I took my first DIY candle class with Office Hours. My expectation with these classes is that the experience is the fun part but odds are my candle will smell ‘meh.’ Let me tell you, I am so excited to light ‘Hot Girl Season’ and in my humble opinion Anthropologie should be knocking on my door for this scent. It was going to be named ‘Hot Girl Fall’ because the scent is very warm (Amber Tobacco/Brown Sugar). But I did not want to limit myself to one season.

If you have not done a deep dive into the rabbit hole that is Sombr vs. 25 year old that attended his concert on Tik Tok, I HIGHLY recommend you do. My summary can only do so much. As someone who is unfamiliar with Sombr, this was all fun and games for me. Basically a 25 year old (this is VERY important) went to a Sombr concert and made a Tik Tok about how the concert was not it and warning people that if they like Sombr’s music and are not a tween the concert will ruin it for you. She described Sombr’s concert as cringey and uncomfortable given the middle school dance vibes of the audience. Crazy PR move but Sombr RESPONDS and acts like her age of 25 is geriatric and that she body shamed him (ok?). Like I said… go do the deep dive because I am only brushing the surface but I am on the team of the elder Sombr fan.

As someone who is extra, I always appreciate someone else who is extra. Like, yes of course we need Wicked themed mocktails to watch Dancing with the Stars, Wicked night. It is fun to make everything a little extra special! Wild that we grew up seeing pink/green and our minds went to Cosmo/Wanda but now we have shifted to Elphaba/Glinda. Pink/Green are those GIRLS.

It is so easy to enjoy a fall beverage when there isn’t someone in your ear telling you that fall drinks are basic or that pumpkin is gross. Let me enjoy my pumpkin matcha latte with a cute leaf garnish!

I respect his honesty. Do I think he will gain the promo he seeks with women? No, no I do not.
