Dear Gentle & Saucy Yappers,

Camp Rock 3 is coming. The sad caveat is that Demi Lovato is not on the cast list. I understand why given that she is in a much better place now than she was during the original movies but it dampers the excitement for me. I wasn’t a Jonas Brothers girl, I was a Demi Lovato girl! Happy for the Jonas Brother girlies though!

RANKING OF THE WEEK: People I Want to Work it Out on the Remix

  1. Demi Lovato & Selena Gomez - I feel we are SO close. They both are talking about each other on podcasts so let’s just kiss and make up now.

  2. Olivia Rodrigo & Sabrina Carpenter - This was all over a man. It’s time!

  3. Kim Cattrall & Sarah Jessica Parker - Doesn’t sit right that Samantha and Carrie can’t be friends

  4. Lindsay Lohan & Hillary Duff - There has been enough time and again it started over a MAN

  5. Kendrick Lamar & Drake - I honestly don’t want them to work it out but I’d love some more songs

R: READING

JUST READ: Curvy Girl Summer: 3.5 stars (83/155 overall ranking)

I really enjoyed what this book was about and the very real topics it discussed. It had to get docked some points for the PURPOSEFUL miscommunication. It was too much and I was starting to get annoyed.

Favorite Quote: “And I would love to have met the right man to be my husband, but I haven’t. And I’m not willing to settle. There’s nothing wrong with that.”

The Vanishing Season: 2 stars (143/155 overall ranking)

So unfortunately this was not a great end to the series. I was just bored and the book had many unnecessary plot lines. The case was a background plot which is my usual favorite plots of these books.

CURRENTLY READING: Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid & The First Witch of Boston by Andrea Catalano

Atmosphere is my Kindle read and The First Witch of Boston is my audiobook listen! One thing about Taylor Jenkins Reid books is that they are a slow burn. I’m still in the beginning of the book so it hasn’t ripped my heart out yet!

E: EATING

Restaurant: Coffee-Q

This food truck at the Texans game had coffee and bbq. Hence the name. Now I am a slut for pulled pork macaroni and cheese. This macaroni was sub-par but the pulled pork carried the team and I didn’t even notice that the mac&cheese was lacking.

P: PLAYING

Music:

It’s happening! Fall girl season is here because Noah Kahan is teasing new music. I am beyond ready. It is guaranteed that the album will rip my heart out and expose my mental illnesses but I am willing to deal with those consequences.

Song Recommendation: The View Between Villages by Noah Kahan

Podcasts: The Comment Section

I felt seen by Drew when she mentioned enjoying sports. It is the most off-brand thing about both of us. But maybe it isn’t off brand and sports are in need of a rebrand. I am definitely a casual fan though because as much as some men would hate to admit it their level of dedication to their team is on par with Swiftie dedication. Not a dig, but an observation! Men are fangirls too; they just hate to admit it!

Television: Dancing With the Stars

I watched the premier of Dancing with the Stars. Will I continue watching? Maybe but probably not. This show falls in the category for me of: shows I can get the gist of on Tik Tok. I will say: this season’s cast is stacked! I actually know most of the people and there are some really talented dancers. My #1 beef with this show? The god-awful covers used. I just feel they have the budget and notoriety to get the original songs!

Movies: The Wrong Paris

There are bad movies and then there are good bad movies. The type of bad movie that you know is low quality but you enjoy watching it. ‘The Wrong Paris’ is a good bad movie. It needs to be stated that Miranda Cosgrove is stunning and I wish she was in more shows/movies!

O: OBSESSED

General: A Girly Football Outing

Go to a NFL game with your girls! You get to dress up cute, get cute pictures, get stadium snacks and drinks, and yap. You can also watch the game if that is your thing! The energy is high and the vibes are fun. If the tickets were cheaper, I would regularly attend. Luckily I got discounted tickets for this one.

Pop Culture: Nina Dobrev and Shaun White

I honestly did not know much about them as a couple besides the fact that they seemed like a solid couple that was engaged. Their engagement is no longer and Nina posted a tik tok that leads us to believe that he cheated. Good riddance Shaun!! Nina will be just fine on her own.

R: RECOMMEND: Watch Parties

I will watch any show if a watch party is involved. Make something a social event and I’m in! The show doesn’t need to be my preference if there is socializing, food, and a fun activity involved. Although Robert Irwin technically got my highest score, my votes went to Andy because I had the most fun watching him dance!

T: TREAT: DIY Ice Cream Sandwiches

Luckily I have a friend who makes amazing homemade cookies regularly. Adding ice cream only makes it better of course! Now eating this as a sandwich is better in theory. Some deconstruction had to be done in the eating process but at least it looked cute!

SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Male Friendships

Is it gay to sit next to your friend at a football game? These two men pictured started off the game sitting next to each other. Once they realized there were open seats around them, one of them scooted over a seat so they had an open seat between them. That was just not enough, so they then went to sit a seat and a row away from each other (pictured). Don’t worry they spent the game leaning over to talk to each other. Consider me confused! I don’t understand male friendships. If my friend did this to me, I would assume we were in a fight.

SAUCY STORY TIME (YAPPER WRITE-INS):

I have my instagram handle on my hinge and a man from hinge followed me. He has over 300k followers and I have no idea why. Then two of his “fan accounts” proceeded to follow me. I 100% believe that he has made these fan accounts himself because there is nothing to be a fan of him for and his followers seem to be all bots that he most likely paid for. If he wanted me to be impressed by his fan accounts, they only did the opposite.

How 433 Investors Unlocked 400X Return Potential

Institutional investors back startups to unlock outsized returns. Regular investors have to wait. But not anymore. Thanks to regulatory updates, some companies are doing things differently.

Take Revolut. In 2016, 433 regular people invested an average of $2,730. Today? They got a 400X buyout offer from the company, as Revolut’s valuation increased 89,900% in the same timeframe.

Founded by a former Zillow exec, Pacaso’s co-ownership tech reshapes the $1.3T vacation home market. They’ve earned $110M+ in gross profit to date, including 41% YoY growth in 2024 alone. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

The same institutional investors behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay backed Pacaso. And you can join them. But not for long. Pacaso’s investment opportunity ends September 18.

Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.
