1. Pizza Parlor - the obvious location for a date (duh!)

2. Coffee Shop - casual but respectable

3. Lighthouse - especially if there is live music playing

4. Dock - It’s giving beach/park date!

5. Night Club - a more bold date

After my last read, I need a fast paced book. I can trust the series that started my love for cowboy romances to do the trick. I’m sad that this will be the last book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series. It should be noted that as far as animated characters on a book cover go… Lyla Sage books do it best.

It’s hard to believe but after eating a salad (The Hudson)… I can officially declare Hudson House as my favorite Houston restaurant. It makes sense why this salad gets to be named after the restaurant. I do not say this lightly when I say this was the best salad I have ever had in my life. I mean…look at it. Avocado, bacon, chicken, tomatoes, and cheese with green goddess dressing. Life changing.

My music vibe this week goes along perfectly with my new favorite playlist: ‘Hot Girl Agenda.’ I was immediately upset that I did not come up with this amazing playlist title but it is the energy I will keeping up with for the rest of the summer.

Song Recommendation: ‘I Wanna Go’ - Britney Spears

This is one podcast I can always recommend with my full chest. It is entertaining and informative. What else could you ask for? As a woman in education - this episode HIT. They gave a summer reading challenge so I feel like Yapple has to do the same!

I have sadly finished the Sex Lives of College girls and I don’t have another season to look forward to. Luckily the finale did not end with any major cliff hangers but so much more story could have been told! The final scene - yes I was crying! The new girly pop started to grow on me and she truly can sing. I will miss these characters dearly!

Petition for a blockbuster movie to come out about Medusa BUT a woman needs to write and direct it. Otherwise I don’t want it. Medusa is my favorite figure in Greek Mythology (I mean I do have a tattoo of her). If you aren’t familiar with her story, she was the BADDEST of the baddies and was known for her gorgeous looks and hair. She was the victim of a man (Poseidon - not that it should matter) and instead of being supported as a victim she was punished. Her sisters stood by her. Athena (a jealous bitch) punished them all by turning them into gorgons. Anyone who looked at Medusa’s face was turned to stone. An innocent woman punished for the actions of a man (typical).

This season is almost done for the summer but notably two contestants this season were kicked off due to them saying racial slurs in their past. It brings up an entire conversation about cancel culture and I just don’t want to get into that. They are reality t.v. stars who said racial slurs… I’m not exactly shedding tears for them. What I need to know is how difficult is it to do a better job at casting? Perhaps it’s time to hire the people online who can dig up dirt in a millisecond.

Clearly my purse bowl is in its infancy stages. The goal is to have a bowl where you keep all of your purse contents in it so you can just quickly fill up your purse. My current setup is searching in my various purses for all the content I need. That method is madness and I needed something more organized. Once I gather all of my purses and complete my purse bowl… it’s over for these hoes!

Sometimes you go to a Love Island watch party (even when you have never watched an entire episode of Love Island before) just for the vibes and the need for a sweet treat. I did not leave the watch party with a desire to start tuning into Love Island but I was happy to have yapped with friends and had some churros!

Absolutely not for the win! My vote probably falls into the ‘Maybe…but I’m not going to be thrilled about it.’ At my grown age, I would appreciate a bit more effort than a chain restaurant.

Now I strongly believe a woman should never need to pay for Plan B… but something about this doesn’t sit right with me.
