The book club theme this month is mystery! I have never heard of this book prior to it being picked but that is the whole point of book club. I do feel like I can never keep track of mystery/thriller titles because they simply all seem like the same variation of the same title involving secret keeping.

There are so many hot chicken places around that I feel silly going to the same ones when I haven’t tried them all! This is why we spread our wings and try new places because this one might take the top spot. I always get the “dirty fries” at these places which is pretty much everything they have on top of fries. The mac & cheese!? I’m still thinking about it.

Yes, my top song this week was ‘A Milli!’ I love when you highly associate a song with a piece of media. The average person might associate “A Milli” by Lil Wayne with their younger school days but the real ones will know that it is the song of the Broad City Pilot. What is the scene you may ask? Abbi and Illana are cleaning a man’s apartment in their underwear while he watches and acts like a baby. If this scene doesn’t convince you to watch the show, nothing else will.

Brooke and Connor are discussing what should be on everyone’s mind… what on earth is the marketing budget for Royal Kingdom!? I have never played this game but OH I know about it because you cannot escape their ridiculous ads. Now they are adding in celebrities. Shakira, Mitch & Cam from Modern Family, Jimmy Fallon, Phoebe & Monica from Friends, and Lebron James? I mean I would do it too for a check but I have to assume that the check is rather large.

SHUT UP MY SHOW IS BACK ON! This is my second favorite reality tv show (nothing will ever beat Jersey Shore). The thing about this show is that the cast is not in on what makes the show so entertaining. I’m willing to bet the majority of viewers do not care the tiniest bit about “Momtok.” We are watching women in the most unreal situations because we cannot fathom the Mormon/Utah of it all! Here are my thoughts on the cast.

Taylor: I believe every word this woman says because she will drag herself too. She is the realest one in the group. The scene with her family… my jaw was on the floor. Her family is her biggest op.

Jen: It is hard to watch her scenes. This season was clearly PR for Zac and I’m concerned for anyone who fell for it. She is clearly not ok and I want her to get out! Clearly she was lying and having horrible mental health because of her toxic husband.

Miranda: I mean we know you want the bag girl. Kind of irrelevant this season so no feelings towards her.

Layla: She truly seemed like a producer plant this season. The pregnancy roulette, showing the group chat to Taylor, her truth box submission, the last scene. Also stand up for Taylor girl!

Jessi: My messy queen! You were way too forgiving about Demi but now we know you are on the correct side.

Demi: I loved her the first season but the fame clearly got to her head. She is absolutely insane. Nothing positive to say.

Whitney: Your redemption season did not work on me girl. You just did nothing which is better than season one but your true colors show with you being against Taylor and with Demi.

Mikayla: A lot of people were annoyed with her hating Whitney so hard this season which I get because it was a bit too much but at the same time I respect her ability to hold a grudge.

Mayci: Unproblematic and nicer than I could ever be to some of these girls!

Before you ask… no I don’t have a mans but it is called manifesting! Making a vision board reminds me of when I was younger and made my mom a Christmas list by cutting out images in catalogues for her in case she was a visual learner. I have made a handful of vision boards but this may be my cutest one! Time for my self love and boujee era to begin!

After getting attacked in prison, Tory Lanez is back in the news again. People (dumb men like Drake) are petitioning for him to be pardoned from prison because of it? Here is the thing… let MEGG LIVE. It is insane how often she has been doubted with this case and re-victimized. This man is in prison and Megg is still having to speak out about this situation. We are team Megg and only team Megg at Yapple Sauce.

If you were looking for a sign to get a new piece of jewelry, consider this your sign. We know that I love an accessory but my bracelet selection is seriously lacking. I do not have the daintiest of wrists/hands so bangles often do not work for me. This one was so simple and perfect. Sorry to encourage bad spending habits but treat yourself!
