Sight - The big two (sight and hearing) and truly these could be interchangeable
Hearing
Touch - I get the heebie jeebies thinking about not being able to experience touch
Taste - I would miss her dearly but she has tough competition
Smell - I’m much too sensitive with gross smells. In this situation I am ranking each sense individually and not how they would affect other senses

CURRENTLY READING: The Calamity Club by Kathryn Stockett
This book is really good so far. It is also really long. The story is set during the Great Depression in Mississippi and (so far) follows two different characters: a girl in an orphanage and a woman who is traveling to ask her sister for money.

Restaurant: Mint to be Mojito
Is this more of a bar? Yes! But I had a delicious empanada with a delicious cilantro green sauce so it counts! This place was in Savannah, GA.

Every so often, a song comes around that we collectively as a society need. We need ‘Stop the Wedding!’ Never have I ever been close to a wedding, but I’m ready to call off my wedding after listening to this song. It also is just so catchy!

Hannah and Paige have been talking about their looks for the U.S. Open and New York Fashion Week. It’s one thing to hear about them and another thing to see them. I have been GAGGED. Genuinely wow. Considering framing this photo for my living room.
Television: The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives
Season 5 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is out and I can’t watch it because I don’t have hulu. This is what’s going to motivate me to hack the main frame. I don’t think a messier television show exists. One thing that really concerns me is the amount of people who fall for the pro-Zac and anti-Jen propaganda. That is feeling extremely spooky to me.
Movies: On the Basis of Sex
I’m unsure why I hadn’t heard of this movie but I loved it! It was the origin story of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Armie Hammer does play the husband so jump scare there. This movie made me proud as woman to see how far we have come but also angry as a woman because some of the rhetoric from the men in the movie was still eerily familiar.
O: OBSESSED
General: Bike Bar Crawl
This company claimed we had to pedal because it was not motorized and that was just them gaslighting us to work out. I just love a bar crawl in general and it’s fun to do it on a bike! I am a notorious slow sipper so I used my bike time to lock in and finish my drinks.
Pop Culture: Shailene Woodley
I will not be including Shailene’s most recent red-carpet look, because her outfit at the Emmy’s was … a choice. Shailene’s horrible ex, Aaron Rodgers got on a podcast and said that when he proposed to her, she asked if she could sleep with someone else. He thought that this was going to do something for him but the girlies rallied behind Shailene. As they should!
R: RECOMMEND: Toner to Damp Skin after Washing
I learned this at a skin care event and it actually works. She recommended using a toner to your freshly washed and damp skin to hydrate your skin. Your skin dries naturally just like it does after you put on toner. Maybe this is old news to some people, but I was applying toner to dry skin. I’m locking in on my skin care people!
T: TREAT: Chef Girl Dinner
My bestie had a chef come to the Airbnb and make dinner for us during her birthday weekend. It was so delicious and I’m still thinking about it. It might seem like a hot take but my favorite dish was the harissa carrots with whipped feta. It was such a fun and yummy time.
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Retail Covers
There is a specific type of cover music that exists seemingly just to give retail stores songs to play. What I’m not understanding is what they have against the original songs. I love a cover! But this specific brand of cover is like nails on a chalkboard to my ears.
YAPPY HOUR: Kristin Hannah Books
I watched a Tik Tok that Kristin Hannah books are American Girl doll books for adults. That is making so much sense for me. I love the story behind an American Girl doll. I love a Kristin Hannah book. She has a new book announced but it’s not seeming to be historical fiction. She may be moving away from the American Girl doll comparisons sadly. I have read her some of her earlier/non-historical fiction books. They were good but didn’t hit the same for me. I will anxiously await her new book regardless.
