JUST READ: The Night We Met: 5 stars (21/215 overall ranking)
This is a redemption from the last book in this series. Although this book felt like a personal attack, I really enjoyed it. Let me say the premise of this book is MESSY. I was wondering how on earth they would resolve the issue the entire book. The leading man, Chris? Need him.

It’s a book club book! I’m not too far into this book but this one is definitely slowing down my typical reading speed. Not because it sucks but I have to slow down while reading to understand what is happening.

Restaurant: Din Tai Fung
All the yummy New York eats will get their time to shine but Din Tai Fung takes the crown. Please understand that our entire table was crashing out because we had to leave this meal. Here is my ranking of the dishes we ordered.

OBVIOUSLY I am going to talk about Harry Styles’ Together Together Tour. We traveled to New York to see him but today he announced more dates in a couple more cities. I have zero regrets about traveling to this concert. I saw him on Friday and Saturday. Harry Styles knows how to put on a show! I need to enjoy his presence while I can because he is always on the verge of disappearing. I love a concert where I can dance. I love Harry Styles. I love that man down!

Drew had Josh Scherer on her show and they discussed food! Josh said something that I really liked which was, that if a food exists, someone found it delicious and just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean that the food is weird. Love that! It goes back to my philosophy of let people enjoy things and have fun. Don’t be judgy!
Television: Earle Meets World
Disclaimer: I have only watched the first episode of this show! I wasn’t going to tune in because I heard a lot about Braxton, her ex-boyfriend, being a main subject of the episodes and heartbreak makes me sad! It’s an easy watch so it will probably be a show I watch while I eat my meals.
Movies: Hoppers
I love watching movies on a plane. It’s my chance to catch up on new movies I didn’t see in theatres. I love an animal Disney movie. It was very cute. When the animals couldn’t talk, I wanted to pick them up and hug them because they were so adorable. I probably won’t re-watch this movie by choice though. It was a nice one-time watch.
O: OBSESSED
General: Belizaire and the Frey Children
I’m so glad I had watched a video on this painting before going to The Met otherwise I would have just walked right past it without knowing the story. At some point in history, Belizaire was purposely painted over in this painting and put away in a basement. Later the painting was restored to show the original painting. It makes you wonder how many other art pieces are deliberately trying to hide history.
Pop Culture: Harry Styles Email
As if recovering from post concert depression wasn’t enough, Harry sent out a cryptic email that says, “After that, I don’t know what comes next for me.” IT’S GIVING 18 MONTH HIATUS. If you know you know. I’m choosing to believe that this man can truly never be away from the spotlight because he was born to be a star. I’m in denial!

Buy the merch. Buy the souvenirs. Money doesn’t exist when you’re on a girl’s trip (yes it does, but no it doesn’t). I’m not a financial advisor, don’t take advice from me. BUT have fun! I don’t regret any of my new trinkets!
T: TREAT: New York Sweet Treats
I don’t think I had enough sweet treats in New York personally but I did love this ice cream from Softside. It was everything I needed and more after making the hot and sweaty trek from the airport to Midtown. Matchas and juices were also featured sweet treats on the trip of course!
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Black Toilet Seats
I don’t like black toilet seats. What are you hiding? I don’t want to see a black toilet seat ever but especially not at a public restroom. I already struggle with the concept of public restrooms as it is.
YAPPY HOUR: Matcha Gaslighting
Here is MY story time. As you can see I am not holding an iced matcha latte. I ordered a pumpkin matcha. The vibes were already a little hostile at this coffee shop. Clearly we had some new employees and one employee was actively showing another employee how to make drinks. I was handed this. Nothing about it looks like a Matcha but I thought perhaps they mixed it already and it’s the pumpkin? I take a sip and it’s absolutely iced coffee. I go up to the worker and say “Is this a matcha?” She tells me yes but it’s that color because of the pumpkin. She chose the right person to tell that lie to because I am not going to fight but this picture is the extent to which I drank that drink.
