JUST READ: Natural Selection: 3 stars (154/219 overall ranking)
This was a very nice short story. I think I enjoyed the potential of where this book could have gone as opposed to where it went. I was satisfied with the ending but I wasn’t wowed.
CURRENTLY READING: First Witches Club by Maisey Yates
Nothing too witchy has happened in the book so far despite the title, but I love a book about a group of women coming together! The vibe of the book is a light hearted take on not so light hearted topics. So far, so good!

Recipe: Million Dollar Spaghetti
I don’t entirely understand the title of this dish but I would describe it as alfredo spaghetti covered with meat sauce and cheese. It was as delicious as it sounds. Many pans were used but it was worth it!

Charli’s album ‘Music, Fashion, Film’ is here! I’m a fan. The album is emotional and fun! Now I do need to talk about the ending of ‘No One Lasts Forever.’ I need her to release a version without David Cronenberg’s ending. It’s not working for me. In fact, it’s panic attack inducing. Bold way to end the album. ‘Wink Wink’ remains as my favorite song remains but ‘Camera’ is emerging as a top contender.

I read the books when I was a child so I went in for the nostalgia factor. The men in the show are low-key hot. I’m not too far into the show but I am entertained!

General: July Dinner Party
July’s dinner party theme was ‘Jersey Shore Sunday Dinner.’ So naturally it was an Italian dinner with a side of chaos. Although the drinking was not heavy because it was indeed a Sunday, we still played drinking games while dressed as 2k10 guidettes. I can only hope I made Snooki proud. Pop Culture: One Direction
July 23rd, 2026 was One Direction’s 16 year anniversary. I feel old and sad. To really twist the knife, Louis streamed his band’s entire discography and posted his thoughts on his Instagram story. One Direction - you will always be special to me.
R: RECOMMEND: Karaoke (Inside)
Hear me out. I have always said that if you see me signing karaoke at a bar, I don’t know that I’m singing karaoke. Being perceived by strangers is my worst nightmare. Karaoke in the comfort of a friend’s home surrounded by friends? Now that is a different story! Karaoke is still possible for my gals who are scared of being perceived by strangers. Throw that shit on your television and sing your heart out!
T: TREAT: Smoothie Walk
It is much too hot to be going on a walk without a cold beverage. We got a smoothie from Tight Squeeze Juice Bar. The flavor of smoothie I got was alright. It was pineapple, blueberry, and apple but weirdly enough all I could taste was the apple. I did finish every last drop though because I was sweating!
SAUCY TAKE OF THE WEEK: Feet out of Covers
I love a blanket! I love being cuddled up! But I never want my feet covered up. It really plays into my claustrophobia and getting hot easily. The monsters might get me but my feet will always be outside of the covers!
YAPPY HOUR: Breakfast Sandwich
I am so serious when I say that I feel so passionately about breakfast sandwiches. I think that they can cure anything. A hangover, a bad mood, or just simple hunger. Breakfast sandwiches are out here saving lives and no one even appreciates them. I do. I appreciate a breakfast sandwich.
